[Much Bigger Problem than just an Error in Place of Birth]

Attempts to trivialize the Canadian Citizenship problems of Maryam Monsef  were so simple as the stone wall being thrown up by the Prime Minister’s Office the entire issue would simply be labeled as “birtherism” as happened with the rumor that Barak Obama was not a USA citizen.   The Obama story was easy to disprove simply by him (Obama) finally making his long-form birth certificate (from Hawaii) public.  That Obama declined to make the birth certificate known when the issue first arose during his 2004 primary contest against Hillary Clinton was far worse than “birtherism” in that Obama fanned the flames of controversy through silence permitting the issue to fester until he finally deigned to deal with an easy issue.

The Maryam Monsef case (in Canada) is much more far-reaching than the Obama rumor.  In Monsef’s case, we have something…
